What It’s Like To Work With Me : What I Do As A Holistic Nutritionist & Bioenergetic Testing Professional At Nutrilogy

Find out what it's like to work with me. This is an overview of what Holistic Nutrition is, how I apply it, and how Bioenergetic Scans help.

Holistic Nutrition

Holistic Nutritionists help bridge the gap between our health and medical system.  Let me explain.  I believe our conventional medical system is an absolutely ESSENTIAL part of our health and well-being.  But, like anything, it has its strengths and weaknesses.

What are these strengths and weaknesses you ask? I’m glad you asked

I think the strong points in our conventional medical system lie in areas such as surgery and emergency care.  What’s the weak points?  In my opinion, it focuses more on managing symptoms and diseases, rather than getting to the root cause of the issue.  Think about it.  How many people experience symptoms, and end up being turned away by our healthcare just because they don’t fit into a certain diagnostic standard?  They get left with no option for them to feel better and they’re stuck with these symptoms, left on their own to figure it all out.  Or, left on their own until it gets worse.

So What Does A Holistic Nutritionist Do?

I’m going to rewind a bit in order to answer this question and give you an outline of what my education encompassed. These were the main learning modules of my 2-year Certificate:

Stack of Opened Books.

Integrative Health Fundamentals

Principles of Holistic Health

Nutrition Sciences & Applications

Meal Planning & Coaching Skills

Anatomy & Physiology

Symptomatology & Pathophysiology

Mind Body Nutrition & More!

Now that you have a taste of what my education covered, let’s fast forward to the ‘What I Do’ part.

What I Do

Holistic Nutritionists use the principles of both Nutrition and Holistic Health for an all-encompassing approach to one’s wellness.  Holistic Nutritionists consider that every person is biochemically unique and they provide an individualized approach in improving one’s health and well-being.

The first thing I do with people, is have them fill out a comprehensive intake form. My intake form encompasses the following information:

  • Main Health Concerns;
  • Family Medical History;
  • Supplements and/or Medication Currently Using;
  • Detailed Symptomatology Information;
  • An Overview of Your Current Diet,
  • A Look at Your Exercise Regime;
  • A Snapshot of How You’re Sleeping.
  • Imbalances In Organs;
  • Nutritional imbalances;
  • Toxins;
  • Hormonal Imbalances;
  • Food and Environmental Sensitivities;
  • Emotional Imbalances;
  • And Much More!

Note: This is not diagnostic.

Note: This is not medical advice, nor is it intended to be, and clients should discuss any changes in their diet, supplements, and/or lifestyle with their regular physician prior to making any of these changes.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

How many sessions you require depends on where you’re at in your health and wellness journey and where you want to be.  Every person is different. We compare bioenergetic work like peeling away the layers of an onion. The first layer might only expose surface layer imbalances that need to be worked on, but the second or third scan might get to the middle of the onion (meaning the root cause of your issues). Once we get to the root cause, this is when people have noticeable improvements in terms of their symptoms. This is NON-Diagnostic.

Most people have good results with a few scans and a few rounds of imprint remedies. On the other hand, some of my clients only need one in a year. It totally depends on what YOU need. If you have been dealing with symptoms for over a year, I would recommend testing every 6-8 weeks. Soon, you’ll be able to scale that back to 1-3 scans in a year. Don’t worry, I can walk you through all of this! We’ll customize this together to suit your wants and your needs.

If you need to keep the costs down, I would recommend starting with the Comprehensive Scan and then use either Follow-Up Scans or Remedy Scans after this for the remainder of the 12 months. After 12 months, I recommend another Comprehensive Scan to see exactly what has changed.

How Can Bioenergetic Scans & Holistic Nutrition Help You?

I believe that everybody can benefit from Bioenergetic Scans and Holistic Nutrition. The better you know your body, the more in tune you are with your strengths and weaknesses, and this means you’re better prepared to deal with health issues.

Bioenergetics reveals particular weaknesses and imbalances and tells us exactly what to prioritize in order to restore this balance. Combine this with my Consultations in Holistic Nutrition and you have even more support on exactly what to adjust to help you bring balance back. Remember, imbalances in the body can be thought of as manifestation of symptoms and bringing the body back to homeostasis is when symptoms will improve or dissipate.

This is not a diagnostic tool of any sort, and it is NOT a replacement for western medicine. This is a supplemental tool that helps us derive a comprehensive and highly individualized wellness plan.

You might be surprised to learn the wide array of issues Bioenergetic Scans and Holistic Nutrition can help with.  Here’s a few examples:

  • Sensitivities, Intolerances, Allergies;
  • Brain Fog;
  • Fatigue;
  • Digestive Issues Such As Gas, Bloating, Indigestion, Heartburn, Constipation, etc.;
  • Anxiety;
  • Weight Issues;
  • Behaviroual Issues;
  • Skin Problems, and more!

My goal in working with clients is to approach each person as a unique individual, listen to and honour their innate wisdom, create an attainable and customized action plan, and educate clients how to make the best choices for long-lasting results.

Holistic Nutritionists work non-specifically on the body’s different systems to bring balance back to the body.  Nutrition is a central part of what we recommend and advocate for, but we also work on several different lifestyle factors, and recommend vitamins and supplements when necessary.  This approach really gives my clients the tools they need to help get their wellness back on track.
